Do you offer beginners classes?

Our classes are designed for ALL experience levels.  Our instructors have years of experience teaching and are able to tailor every class to the needs of our members.

At what age can kids start Jiu Jitsu?

We have programs for children ages 3-6 years old,  and we offer daily classes for children ages 7-12 as well as teens.

What do I need to wear to class?

Showing up for your first day can be inttimadating, we don't want this to be a major concern.  Come to class in athletic apparel (fitness shorts, shirts made of performance fabrics, sweat pants or yoga pants).

In our Gi classes we wear a traditional martial arts style kimono aka gi

​

In our NoGi classes we wear rash guards and other athletic wear.

What does a typical class involve?

A typical class at Karma Jiu Jitsu is filled with movement and fun!  It is also important to ensure we incorporate our core values into every class. 

 

In every class we have the following format

  • Warm-up

  • Technique/Drills/Games

  • Rolls/Sparring
